For this piece, I started with watercolor first. I wanted to utilize shades/values rather than pencil. It became more instinct and surreal rather than logical and based in fundamentals. I enjoyed it and will take what I learned. I took inspiration from the ocean and what I knew about old school diving suits. I’d like to think this guy has been stuck at the bottom of the Sea, waiting for rescue, cleaning things and fixing pipes. He unintentionally saved a multitude of high status infrastructures from plumbing & internet issues.
